Desperados 3 (2020) is a prequel set several years before the original game, and expands upon the backstory of the franchise’s main protagonist, John Cooper. The tutorial and a few flashback missions follow a young Cooper as he is training to become a bounty hunter under the tutelage of his father, when their latest hunt goes horribly wrong.
